I got my bachelor’s degree in biological science from Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China. Then I worked as a research assistant at the Southern University of Science and Technology in China, where I tried to solve Bassoon and Piccolo protein structures by X-ray crystallography. I was admitted to the BCMB PhD program at UCR in 2021, and joined Ninova lab to explore H3K9me3 inheritance in Drosophila. In my free time, I like playing the piano, hiking and cooking.
